Moving Into My New House

Last month, I moved into my new house. It’s a custom house that was finished in late May. It has two floors and it doesn’t have a door at the bottom of the stairs like in the rental we were in, so we had to get baby gates because I have a one year old baby brother who has almost mastered climbing them. When he tries to go down he wants to walk like everyone else and falls. When I hold his hands and try to get him to walk, he walks off the edge and locks his legs so he does a little bounce when he hits the bottom step.
