Back on January 12th, I tried making a snow cat with Lego Technic. I got it to drive on snow but the motors didn’t work in the cold. Then I decided to turn it into a tank and put a Nerf gun on it.
I finished the first version of the tank by the end of that week, but it didn’t work or look good. The second version was slow but much stronger. The third and current version is WIFI controlled with 8 XL Power Functions motors, armor plating to stop bullets from getting into it, and a small compartment in the front for a small tank. It weighs 18 pounds and I 3d printed a tank extension for the gun so it can hold about 300 bullets.
I ordered 1000 bullets for it and the rest of our guns because all the balls we had fell apart or got lost. I put aluminum axles in the tracks because all the plastic ones I put in before snapped under the weight of everything.
