Sorting Legos

For the last few years, I’ve wanted to sort my Lego Technic parts because it takes forever having to dig through all the parts to find the right one.

So about 3 weeks ago, I started sorting them by part and not color because I don’t have very many pieces and I don’t really make my builds all one color. It took about a week and a half mostly because I kept running out of space in the little storage cabinets I used. The cabinets I used have 30 small drawers and 9 big drawers in each cabinet. I only needed 5 of the cabinets and had about a dozen small drawers left, so I was able to put the more uncommon parts in their own separate drawers. I put all the motors, battery packs, and control hubs on top of the cabinets because they are too big to fit even in the big drawers.
