End Of The Tank

Since January 15th 2024, I have been trying to get my tank to be durable, fast and work properly.

Making it durable was the easy part since I just had to add supports and parts connecting the two sides of whatever needed to be reinforced.

The speed has always been the hard part though, as to make the little motors strong enough, I had to add a gear ratio. The smallest gear ratio I could use is a 1 to 2, but it still went too slow and drew too much power from the battery. I tried to replace the drive motors with a modified power drill motor and made it work like a real tank with clutches, a transmission, and a gearbox, but it still either melted, bent, or even broke parts. The last thing I tried with the setup I had, it twisted and sheared an aluminum axle like it was plastic. I moved the gear ratios right up against the tracks so there was little stress on the rest of the components. Now I think it bent an aluminum gear that I have no more of and the clutches start to melt at the needed speed.
