Last Wednesday, I got my first project car. It is a 1942 Dodge Power Wagon WC-52.
It has almost no wiring or lights in it. Most the wiring that’s in it is original, and there’s only a few smaller lights that one of the older owners had painted over. A few of the original things from it are missing or changed. The center of the steering wheel is missing, the original canvas cover, windshield, seats, benches, and the wooden frame for the back are gone. The engine has also been replaced. The guy we bought it from had built a wooden frame for the back and installed an extra windshield that went to a different type of vehicle. The other issues are that the front brakes need to be redone, someone tried unsuccessfully to rewire it, and there are lots of holes and modifications that have been done to it.
