Last year, we made a haunted house on our front porch for Halloween. All we did was hot glue a bunch of plastic trash bags onto the walls of the porch. This year, we got big pieces of drop cloth instead of using trash bags. Then, to hang them, we put hooks in the ceiling instead of using hot glue because the glue took some paint off the siding last year. For the inside last year, to scare the trick or treaters, Ben was sitting inside the porch in a pug costume, with a stuffed pug costume next to him with the candy. This year, I made some feet for Hank’s old stilts so I could stand on them while wearing a pumpkin mask and a black cloak on the walkway into the porch. Hank was on an umbrella stand wearing all black inside the haunted house, and our friend from church, Andrew, was dressed as ghost face next to him.
