Last Monday, our uncle took me, my brother, and our cousin on a roadtrip.
We went from eastern Idaho, through western Wyoming and Montana, and then back into northern Idaho. Before we left Idaho, we saw the Devil’s Washbowl gorge and Lemon Falls, then spent the night in a small campground near Swan Valley.
Tuesday, we went to Jackson in the morning, and then went on a hike in the Grand Tetons national park for almost 6 hours. After that we spent the rest of the day trying to get into Montana and slept in a KOA park.
Wednesday, we went to see the Old Faithful geyser in the Yellowstone national park, and then went to Butte, Montana. We missed the tour for the Orphan Girl mine, and instead saw the Berkelely pit which was right next to it. We spent the rest of the day crossing back into northern Idaho.
Thursday we went to Wallace, Idaho and went on the Sierra Silver mine tour. Neither my brother or our cousin, who had the phones, took a video of the machines the tour guide was operating. After that we went to Post Falls to see family for a few hours and then spent all night driving back home as we got to McCall too late to get somewhere to sleep.
