Junkyards

Two weeks ago, my dad and I went to two junkyards to look for parts for the Beep.

The first one we went to mostly had newer military trucks like Humvees, a few Willys jeeps, and larger trucks like the Deuce and a half. The guy that owns the place told us about a different yard that only had WWII Power Wagons and parts for them. We had a bit of trouble finding the other one because it was behind some buildings and it wasn’t really a scrapyard. It was just a little dirt lot with a bunch of mostly trashed Power Wagons next to his towing shop. there was a WC-56 that was mostly taken apart, a WC-51 that was fully restored for one of his friends 10 years ago, but the guy never came to get it, and a bunch of WC 51, 52, 62, and 63s as well. We took some smaller parts of the 56 and the guy that owns the place said he could sell us an original engine for the Beep for $250.
